New Criticism, Background Criticism, Reflective Approach, New Historicism

Okayy for Literature in English we were given the tutorial task of analysing an article, chapter 13 entitled 'History' from Bennet and Royle. We were to read it carefully and identify the 4 schools of criticism, discuss and present our interpretations of these 4 schools in our own words.

If you want to see the article, just go to this link

Okayy that's the whole book. To see the article, click on the tab ' History' on your left :)

Trust me, the whole article was a whole load of jargon to me. I had multiple discussions and in the end, FINALLY, I was able to understand. Not perfectly, but just enough so I don't blab nonsense during my presentation. Since the task was to present it in our own words, our presentation was as simple as possible, no confusing or highly technical words whatsoever. So you must understand, the sentences sound far from a professional. Hiks. So I'll post my presentation down below. Other groups presented too, but theirs were a little more complicated than ours. If you want more information, just google it okayy :)
